Project overview
Some homes are found. This one was imagined.
When the owners couldn't find a vacation home in South Florida that felt like theirs, they built one - a Juno Beach residence that blends the timeless charm of coastal New England with the sun-warmed elegance of Provence. Shingled rooflines meet Mediterranean warmth. Coastal restraint meets rustic sophistication.
Our job was to make the technology as invisible as the design is intentional.
The Great Room tells the story best.
Behind the ceiling: a full Crestron 7.1 surround system with Sonance Architectural Series speakers and an above-ceiling Sonance bandpass subwoofer. Below the 85" TV: a Sonance sound bar, width-matched to look like part of the display. Recessed into the wall: a 10" Crestron TSW touchpanel, flush-mounted with Trufig panels. Tucked into the bookshelves: Crestron Horizon keypads, nearly invisible from any angle.
An overwhelming amount of technology in one room - and you'd barely notice any of it. That's systems integration done right.
A centralized Crestron lighting system manages the entire home from a handful of elegantly placed Horizon keypads - clean lines, no clutter, total control.
Occupancy sensors and the system's internal astronomical clock automate lighting and motorized shade events throughout the day. Morning light fills the kitchen on its own. Shades descend as the afternoon sun hits the west-facing glass. Evening scenes set themselves. The home reads the sky and responds - no input required.
The master bedroom. The guest rooms. The loft. The bathrooms. Even the laundry room.
Every space in this home received the same level of care - Crestron audio and video distribution, automated lighting scenes, and motorized shades recessed into the ceilings so cleanly they disappear entirely. A private elevator is tied into the smart home system. Horizon keypads are flush-mounted into millwork, matching the home's refined coastal finishes rather than fighting them.
No room is an afterthought. No technology is an intrusion.
When you live in Juno Beach, outdoor living isn't optional - it's the whole point.
The covered outdoor great room features full audiovisual, Crestron lighting controls, ventilation, and motorized bug screens that drop at the touch of a button. Sonance Garden Series landscape speakers and underground subwoofers flood the entire backyard - pool deck, putting green, and everything in between - with nightclub-quality audio that disappears into the landscape.
The pool systems are fully integrated into Crestron Home. Lighting shifts the outdoor mood from bright afternoon gathering to intimate evening glow. From the dining terrace to the water's edge, the experience is seamless.
A vacation home sits empty more often than not. This one doesn't sleep.
Full-perimeter security and surveillance monitors the property around the clock. The system reports back to its owners if anything goes wrong - water, intrusion, fire, power. Complete remote access through Crestron Home means the homeowners can check on every system, adjust every setting, and manage every scene from anywhere in the world.
Peace of mind that travels with you.
The homeowners' two biggest priorities: it has to be easy, and it has to work. Every time.
Crestron Home delivers clean, intuitive interfaces that respond the moment you need them. Behind the walls, a system engineered with precision - pre-wired to the highest standards, every component installed and calibrated to deliver reliability you never have to think about.
A home that runs as beautifully as it looks. Coastal paradise, with a touch of sophistication - and technology that loves you back.
