Support and Care for Your Connected Home

An automated home runs on networks, processors, and dozens of connected devices that all have to keep talking to each other. Lighting follows the time of day. Shades track the sun. Audio moves with you. Most of it stays invisible until something drifts out of sync.

That’s where ongoing care matters. A firmware update, a swapped router, or one failed device can quietly change how the whole house behaves. We keep it running so everything feels dependable again.

Geeks of Technology maintains and supports integrated residential systems across Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach, including automation built on Crestron by our certified dealer team. Some of the homes we look after were designed and installed by us. Many weren’t. Either way, the job is the same.

Plan Members Go to the Front of the Line

When calls stack up, plan members get seen first. A care plan puts you at the front of the line for phone, email, and onsite service, so your problem gets a technician while everyone without a plan is still waiting their turn.

These response times are committed, not hoped for. A no-plan onsite visit can be five business days out. For members it drops to as little as 24 hours, with a weekday call answered the same day. When something quits the night before you’re hosting, that gap is the whole difference.

Problems Caught Before You Call

The best service call is the one you never have to make. Cloud-based monitoring watches the health of your equipment around the clock, every day of the year, and alerts us the moment something starts to drift.

Often we catch a problem and fix it remotely before you’ve noticed anything is off. A processor that needs a reboot, a network switch acting up, a device that dropped offline overnight, handled quietly in the background. That’s the difference between a system you have to manage and one that looks after itself.

Staying ahead of the wear matters too. Equipment serviced on a schedule lasts longer and runs better than equipment left alone until it fails, which protects the money you put into an integrated system.

What a Care Plan Covers

Every plan does two jobs: it keeps an eye on the system, and it stays ahead of the maintenance the system needs.

  • Remote monitoring and management of connected devices, with remote reboots when something hangs
  • Scheduled preventative maintenance, including firmware updates, a 25-point system inspection, and refresher training for your household or staff
  • Basic audio and video calibration to keep picture and sound dialed in</li
  • Telco and cable authorization handled for you, so you’re not the one on hold with the carrier
  • Prepaid remote support hours on the upper tiers, ready when you need a quick fix

Monitoring runs on a small appliance we set up on your home network, quoted separately from the plan itself. Systems built on Crestron and the other platforms we work with all fold into the same coverage.

Better Rates and a Longer Warranty

Getting seen first is the headline, but it isn’t the whole story. Members also pay lower labor and travel rates than non-plan clients, and the truck roll fee charged on every no-plan visit is waived on the upper tiers.

The warranty on our labor runs longer the higher the plan, up to 180 days, and it sits on top of the manufacturer’s equipment warranty, which still applies as it always did.

Compare Silver, Gold, and Platinum

Which plan fits comes down to how many connected devices your system runs and how fast you want help to arrive.

  • Silver suits smaller systems of up to five managed devices, with monitoring, remote reboots, same-day phone response, and member rates
  • Gold covers five to twenty-five devices, adds annual preventative maintenance and an hour of prepaid remote support, waives the truck roll fee, and tightens response times.
  • Platinum is built for large systems of twenty-five or more devices, with bi-annual maintenance, three hours of prepaid support, the fastest response times we offer, and our lowest rates.
